INTRODUCTION
Green School Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organization created to bring sustainability-focused educational opportunities to local children. Our work began in 2008 through the Local Scholarship Program at Green School Bali, where we have provided over 70 Balinese students access to a progressive, international preK-12 education centered on sustainability and environmental action.
Today our organization continues to expand the scope and scale of learning opportunities for Indonesian learners. Green School Foundation supports sustainability-focused education, works directly with local schools and students, and collaborates with local government.

4: Quality of Education
Our mission is to support socio-economically disadvantaged students through undergraduate university scholarships particularly for children of farmers. In addition, we facilitate sustainability school workshops alongside Green School to provide these students with a quality education in environmental sustainability.
11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
By supporting the local community through education, we give them knowledge and practical awareness about environmental issues, and empower them to take personal responsibility for change. Change happens when younger generations lead their communities in solving problems together.
12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Green School Foundation supports regenerative agriculture. Through providing education and training to aspiring young farmers, we can conserve and restore farming land in Indonesia and create food security and sustainability for the long term.
13. Climate Action
Indonesia is one of the countries most at risk from climate change due to sea level rise, extreme weather and heat, and ecosystem loss. Both Green School Foundation programs create opportunities for locally-inspired action to take place and solutions to be generated and, potentially, even scaled globally.
